The owner of this CBD apartment had very specific ideas for the look and feel of this kitchen project. The key themes were symmetry, dark grains and concealment. Individual has taken these prerequisites and delivered a stunning, modern kitchen with impact to match the stunning city views this space affords.
Living up to the standards set by the choice of high-end appliances and materials, the cabinetry in this kitchen is exquisite. Not only does the choice of the timber grain prelaminate board blend perfectly with the red and brown hues of the flooring, the waving grain has been painstakingly matched from end-to-end of each continuous bank of cabinets, over 5 metres in some instances.
The level of execution on this project was duly recognised at the 2009 Victorian HIA Awards, winning three prestigious awards – Kitchen Project of the Year, Renovated Kitchen over $30,000 and Best Townhouse/Apartment Project.
